Buildings worth almost 80 trillion soums were built in Uzbekistan
During the period from January to June of this year, construction work worth 79.8 trillion soums was completed in Uzbekistan. The Statistics Agency reports this.
Over the same period last year, the figure increased by more than 11 trillion soums or 16%.
As of July 1, 2024, 30 thousand enterprises and organizations engaged in construction activities were registered in Uzbekistan. Of these, 6.7 thousand or 22.4% are located in Tashkent.
The agency also published data on construction work for the first six months of the year:
- construction of buildings and structures amounted to 54.9 trillion soums;
- civil facilities - 16.8 trillion soums;
- specialized construction work - 7.9 trillion soums.
