Uzbekistan exported construction materials worth over $450 million
Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan became the leaders in purchasesIn accordance with the presidential decree, the planned indicators for the export of construction materials and services for the current year were set at $1.1 billion. This was reported by the press service of Uzpromstroymaterialy.
For January-July, the export of construction materials and services amounted to $453.4 million, which is 8.8% more than planned. These indicators include metal products for $138.8 million, profiles, gutters and fittings made of PVC for $62.5 million, colored paper for $41.9 million, ceramic tiles and products for $34.6 million, dry construction mixes for $29.3 million, aluminum profiles and panels for $26.1 million and natural finishing stones for $21.5 million.
The main export destinations remain neighboring republics, which account for approximately 54% of the total export volume. The country supplied the most construction materials to Russia — $119.3 million. Kazakhstan came in second — $105.7 million, and Tajikistan came in third — $58.2 million.
