Another 122 hectares allocated for construction of New Tashkent
The lands were transferred from the territories of the villages of Yukorichirchik district of Tashkent region.In accordance with the resolution of the regional khokim, 122.3 hectares of land in Yukorichirchik district were allocated for the construction of New Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.
In particular, 75.22 hectares were allocated from the territory of Bordonkul village, and 47.1 hectares from Dustlik village.
It is worth noting that to date, more than 220 hectares of land have been transferred to the Directorate for the Construction of New Tashkent for permanent use.
Recall that in April last year, the construction of 7 facilities began on the territory of New Tashkent - campuses of Yangi Uzbekistan University and Tashkent State Pedagogical University, the National Library, the National Theater, the International Research Center, the Museum of Literature, the Alisher Navoi School of Creativity, as well as the National Maqom Center.
