Malaysian company plans to build small hydroelectric power stations in the Kashkadarya region

Potential investors intend to participate in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum and sign the relevant agreement within its framework.

Tashkent, Jun 8 - Sputnik. The Malaysian company is interested in building small hydroelectric power stations in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA.

Representatives of the Malaysian company Nexus Green Resources SDN BHD visited this region to study the possibilities for investing in the construction of small hydroelectric power stations here.

“The delegation of the company announced the readiness to implement the project for the construction of hydroelectric power stations on existing rivers and canals of the region, rationally using water resources, together with local partners,” the report said.

The head of the regional administration, Murodzhon Azimov, assured that the Khokimyat would provide comprehensive support for the company in the implementation of this project.

Together with the specialists of the Chinese company "Zhejiang Jinlun Electromechanic Co., Ltd." The Malaysian side visited the rivers and channels of the region for studying the technical capabilities and indicators of the effectiveness of the placement of small hydroelectric power stations.

The leadership of the Malaysian company plans to take part in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum and sign an agreement with the Khokimyat of the Kashkadarya region and the Ministry of Energy Ruz within its framework.
