UzBuild’s Status as the Largest Construction Exhibition Officially Confirmed

UzBuild 2025 has successfully passed an audit by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). The certificate, supported by impressive figures, has once again confirmed UzBuild’s status as the largest construction exhibition in Uzbekistan and all of Central Asia in terms of size, number of participants, and visitors.

More than 400 companies and brands from 21 countries took part in the 26th Uzbekistan International Construction Exhibition UzBuild 2025, with 75% of exhibitors coming from abroad. For the first time in Uzbekistan’s history, the exhibition was held simultaneously at two venues — Uzexpocentre NEC and CAEx Uzbekistan, with a total gross exhibition area of 20,000 sq. m. The event attracted over 17,000 industry professionals from both neighboring and distant countries. Survey results show that for the vast majority of exhibitors and visitors, participation in the exhibition was productive in terms of establishing business contacts and finding partners and clients.

From its inception, the exhibition has been committed to delivering high-quality services to both participants and visitors. For 26 years, UzBuild has strived to ensure transparency, reliability, and quality. To support this mission, the organizers commission independent international exhibition audits.

The audit process involves the verification of exhibition statistics by independent international experts based on key criteria, including:
  • Exhibition space (indoor/outdoor; gross/net)
  • Number of exhibitors (international/national; quantity and percentage)
  • Number of co-exhibitors (international/national; quantity and percentage)
  • Number of direct participants (international/national; quantity and percentage)
  • Number of indirect participants (international/national; quantity and percentage)
  • Number of visitors (international/national; quantity and percentage)

If the auditors’ data differs from that provided by the organizers in even one of these categories, the audit is considered failed.

UzBuild passed its first audit in 2007, becoming the first exhibition in Uzbekistan to receive a UFI-certified “Approved Event” status. According to UFI regulations, to maintain this status, the event must undergo regular audits — which it successfully did again this year, confirming its impressive results.

It is worth noting that Iteca Exhibitions applies the same standards and approach to all of its events. The company prioritizes maintaining its image as a reliable partner, meeting the expectations of exhibitors and visitors, and ensuring transparency and integrity.

Compliance with legislation is also a top priority in organizing exhibitions. Therefore, the verified UFI audit data provides a legitimate basis for using terms such as “largest,” “flagship exhibition,” and “key event” in content creation. The organizers believe that exhibitors and visitors have the right to receive reliable statistics to help them select events that deliver the highest business returns.

In contrast, some companies use similar terms — “largest,” “leading,” “flagship,” etc. — in announcements, press releases, and marketing materials for their events, which mislead the target audience. A visit and visual inspection of such events often reveal the opposite: small exhibition areas, few participants, and sparse attendance. Such practices are dishonest and misleading for potential participants and visitors and fail to deliver the promised results. Exhibitors suffer from low visitor traffic, while visitors are disappointed by the limited range of products. In addition to moral disappointment, exhibitors also incur financial losses due to unjustified participation costs. Ultimately, such false advertising damages not only the reputation of individual events but also harms the country’s overall image and investment appeal.

These factors highlight the importance of undergoing independent international audits by UFI. This is not just a formality — it is a key element of honest exhibition practices. It is verified data, not loud slogans, that allow participants and visitors to make informed decisions in favor of truly effective events.

In an industry that is rapidly expanding, with more and more exhibitions emerging, only those events that meet strict international standards can guarantee real business results and long-term partnerships.

The successful audit of UzBuild 2025 has officially reaffirmed its title as the “largest construction exhibition in the region” — this is not a marketing slogan, but a fact based on verified statistics.
